Mac OS X Font Installation

This is somehow I just prepared that if you might wondering how to install font on Mac. The simplest way is just drag whatever font into font folder. Mac OS X has two font folders. One for system level for all users and one for current user. It is in this kind of directory structure.

System Level ==> Macintosh HD/Library/Fonts
Current User Level ==> Username/Library/Fonts
You will have to drag and drop the font into either of that folder. Place into system level for system-wide or place into current user level for current user or both. It will be as follow screenshots from finder.

Current user level (My user name is "skl")

System level (My system name is the name of system harddisk name "Macintosh HD")

And actually, Mac OS X has font manager application called "Font Book". If you just simply double click on any font like example "UniBurma.ttf", it will open with font book application and prompt you whether you want to install font or not.

If you press "Install Font", it will install the font into current user level. If there is previous same font name existed, it will override automittically.
